Another piece of wood from a turning friend in Florida. After I finished turning this piece, I was not happy with leaving the opening just in the form of a round hole, so I carved out the bark at the top to make the opening parallel the natural shape of the edge of the bark. In addition, the small piece of bark that you see facing you was actually a flat spot. I took a piece of bark and glued it on to give it some interest. |
